Dykes on Mics is a weekly magazine-style radio show that seeks to answer the age-old question, "What happens when you get a handful of very different lesbians together and encourage them to produce a radio show?" (The answer appears to be, "A lot of laughs. And considerable consumption of alcoholic beverage.")

The show has been informing Melbourne's gay / bi / trans women since 1994. After a not-too-hostile takeover in March 2006 (and some pretty cut-throat talent searches in '08), Dykes on Mics is now produced by Toni, Suzzy, and Kat. [Dissatisfaction with these arrangements is best voiced in the form of a donation to the Liberals' re-election campaign.]

The Dykes on Mics teams (in all of their various forms) have been fortunate enough to interview and get to know some of the world's most styling and creative queer peeps during their time on- and off- air. That said, we know there are still so many stories to be told, so many amazing people to meet, and so many good times to be had!
