Lena shares her lived experience of using community support to help people support family members recover from drug addiction in Bunbury Western Australia. Lena shares about the origin of a group called Doors Wide Open and how community came together when she put out a call over social media to assist her sone who had a methamphetamine (ice) addiction.
Doors Wide Open is a peer-led community support service that assists individuals and families impacted by AOD. They also offer support for people impacted by homelessness or rough sleeping.
