3CR Promotions Volunteers Needed (May 2008)

Stalls Coordinator>>
3CR is looking for a volunteer to organise 3CR stalls at various community events throughout the year.
3CR has stalls at events such as Survival Day, May Day, Sydney Road Festival and so on – usually about 7 to 10 stalls a year.
If you are a good organiser, have access to a car and are free to call up 3CR volunteers and schedule rosters then contact 3CR (details below).

Website Online Journalists>>
3cr.org.au is in need of online journalists in order to keep the website lively and up to date! We are looking for someone to highlight 3CR on air content that's coming up, edit stories out of radio programs and making them into their own online story, create written from existing content such as 3CR podcasts and add relevant current affairs information to the website.
Are you skilled at writing, excited about websites and able to regularly devote a minimum of 5 hours a week to the website? You don’t need to be located at 3CR in order to write and upload onto the site.
If you are a 3CR broadcaster you will have the edge on finding 3CR stories and creating website content.

Website Backend Support and Administrator>>
The 3CR website is supported by a small team of web volunteers who meet once at month at 3CR. They work on the website's Content Management System (Drupal),
design, regular content and images and do work on the site in their own time.
The 3CR web team needs more volunteers as the website develops in its functions and 3CR listeners increasingly listen to 3CR with webstreaming or podcasts. Soon, access to the website will grow from just the web team to other members of the 3CR community and we need more "techies" to help us with these changes.
Are you familiar with using Drupal and its modules? Can you set up and manage many users in Drupal?
You don't need to be located at 3CR to administer and work on the site.
If you are have the time and the interest in committing in an ongoing way to 3CR’s website and you are responsible and communicative then contact 3CR.

Every year 3CR advertises for a Radiothon Worker, which is a short term postion from April to June.

3CR is always open to people wanting to apply to volunteer.
