Author Katerina Mitrevska - LIved experience as a young carer

Katerina is an author passionate about supporting those in recovery of mental health.

Katerina in her poetry book Breakthrough– the reason mother didn’t love me writes about her lived experience as a young carer for her mother who was given the diagnosis of schizophrenia.

Katerina’s book Breakthrough gives the reader insight into the life of a child whose mother experienced a deep loss of herself. Katerina hopes that by sharing her most personal thoughts and experiences she can support others to find solace, acceptance and peace within their own story.
