Fishermans Bend Urban Renewal Project and Transport with John McPherson

Wednesday, 1 April 2015 - 9:00am to 10:00am

The Fishermans Bend Urban Renewal Project was meant to be a boon for the area, but has been undermined by the granting of permits for apartment blocks without proper planning. We speak to Helen Halliday from The Community Alliance of Port Phillip who run The Fishermans Bend Network a broad community network promoting good planning, design and infrastructure for the Fishermans Bend Urban Renewal Area. We also speak to one of the effected residents, Angela Georganas, about her experiences.

Later on in the show we welcome John McPherson for our usual segment about transport.

Wednesday 9:00am to 10:00am
Urban environment issues, analysing government services, both federal and state and local campaigns.
