Later, we speak with Emma, a delegate for the Independent Education Union (Vic-Tas) about organising teachers in the ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) industry in the wake of the novel coronavirusand more broadly, Workers Organising Resistance during the pandemic.

We also discuss in more depth the layoffs and deterioriating of working conditions in the private education sector as a response to international students leaving the country and being left with no governmental support.
