Series 5, Episode 3:
This episode of Creatures of the Industry features an extended interview with Dave Kerin, who gives his perspective on the industry as he experienced it, painting a picture of deep personal and political connections sparked during the late 60s anti-Vietnam War movement that informed his own unionism.
They also discuss scaffolding, the introduction of tickets, 'EBAism', the right to function equal to employers, and the effect of the shrinking of the legal right to show solidarity.
Looking to the future, he reflects that 'as a social movement, we're it', that unions have always been the voice of democracy within the economy, and only unions can drive change.
