As the public outrage over the Fukushima nuclear meltdown recedes, nuclear industry proponents are reviving their plan for South Australia to be the world’s nuclear waste dump. Arguments in favour of nuclear waste storage in South Australia are well and truely on the table. The Royal Commission's interim report into the nuclear fuel cycle says there are valid economic and moral arguments for storage facilities in South Australia.
