The NorthEast Link Project is set to start early works on May 18. The project has come under scrutiny as 4 local councils that will be impacted by the project have taken it to court over its inadequate Environmental Effects Statement. Today on Dirt Radio, we chat with Claudia and Mary from Sustainable Cities about their campaign to oppose the project, as well as Michelle from Friends of Banyule - one of the council areas impacted heavily by the project. We chat about some of the environmental impacts as well as the potential risks to the project from Covid19.
