This week, Peter Dutton received a radioactive reception after announcing a bold plan to implement nuclear energy, should the Liberals win the next federal election.

It marks a new chapter in Australia’s ongoing climate wars, and while there’s little details about costs or timelines, the prospect of nuclear power has been met with fierce opposition from energy leaders, environmentalists, and state governments.
