Opelousas, a town in Louisiana, USA, proudly calls itself the "Spice Capital of the World." Sharing its name, Opelousas is also a hard rockin’ blues band from Melbourne, featuring members Alison Ferrier, Anthony Shortte, and Kerri Simpson. The band recently released their sophomore album, Opelousafried, recorded and produced by guitar maestro Jeff Lang at his Enclave Recording Facility.

Kerri Simpson stands out as a superlative musician, known for her exceptional ability to traverse musical genres. Dubbed "Australia's own Blues diva" by Bruce Elder of the Sydney Morning Herald, Simpson has made herself at home in a myriad of genres, showcasing her versatility and talent.
