ECOSS needs your help

At a beautiful farm and community hub in Wesburn, not-for-profit ECOSS supports food security, reconciliation, community connections, climate and environment issues, the arts and multiculturalism in the Yarra Valley.

In this episode Executive Officer Chelsea McNab discusses the range of roles ECOSS plays and the financial realities of running a not-for-profit organisation.

ECOSS is in urgent need of short-term financial assistance, as Chelsea outlines in the email below. If you would like to donate, go to https://ecoss.org.au/donations-page-frrr/

'It comes with a heavy heart for us to let you know how dire the financial situation is with ECOSS at the moment.  I'm writing this in radical honesty, as most people do not understand what occurs in the Cogs of ECOSS.

Many of you know that we have had to reduce staff hours in our essential and wonderful programs- Crops for Community and our Events and Market Coordination roles. This has been very difficult for the staff...

We have strong vision and focus on our sustainability and are always striving to make ends meet, however we find ourselves in a hiatus requiring 6 months additional financial support.

Can you please try hard help us bridge the gap in our finances for the next 6 months?

We are hoping to reach our target of raising $15,000.

Thankyou for your love and care for ECOSS, united we can do this!

For the love of our community

Chelsea McNab
