Morphine, climate talk and randomised trials

Thursday, 14 July 2016 - 8:30am to 9:00am

This week Stu looks at morphine, a drug commonly known for its potent analgesic effects and the new research suggesting that it might not have the effect we think it does.

Also special guest meteorologist Nate takes us through the difference between weather and climate and talks about two climate science papers published in the same week one good news, one bad news.

And Chris concludes his series on medical research with what can only be described as a very solidly grounded in evidence "expose" on randomised controlled trials. Why are they done and are they effective?
