My Melbourne is a 3CR project for Disability Day 2012. Five people with disability who live, work and play in the City of Melbourne share their diverse experiences of the city – inner-city residents who love the urban life, artists and activists raising awareness of the lived experience of disability, and changing opportunities for workers, students and athletes.

Maysa Abouzeid describes herself as a Blind Italian-Egyptian Muslim female comedian. Maysa is also an accomplished writer and performer whose 2012 Melbourne Fringe Festival show ‘Nest’, was a sensory theatre experience, immersing the audience in Maysa’s world through sound, touch, smell and taste.
