Celebrate May Day on 3CR from 6am Saturday 1 May. Each year on 1 May people from around the world join to mark May Day – celebrating the achievements of workers while recognising the fight for equity in the workplace is far from over.

3CR celebrates May Day 2010 with a special broadcast featuring perspectives from local and international workers as well as information on events happening all over town.
You are invited to the launch of 3CR's new mural on Friday 26 March 6PM.

The street party will welcome the new mural to the neighbourhood and will feature a BBQ, music including the Bulls and the Brothers Grim, speakers - the City of Yarra Mayor and the Tony Abbott's Ladies Auxiliary Club - and the mural unveiling by the artists.

Join the team from Roominations this Friday 19 March from 12 - 2pm for a special live outside broadcast from the Where the Heart Is Festival.

Held annually in the Edinburgh Gardens, North Fitzroy, the Festival and broadcast will give voice to homeless issues and peoples in Melbourne. Tune in on 855AM or stream live via www.3cr.org.au.

3CR Community Radio's environment shows will broadcast live from the Sustainable Living Festival on Saturday, 20 February from 11:00 am through until 1:00 pm. Featuring interviews and discussion on current sustainability issues with broadcasters from Earth Matters, Out of the Blue, Beyond Zero Emissions and Renegade Economists.

We will also be broadcasting live from the Applecore Backyard Festival this Saturday, 20 February from 5:30pm through until 10:00pm. 3CR is getting closer to finalising the design of the new mural on the outside of its building at 21 Smith Street Fitzroy.

Local artists Bindi Cole, Tom Civil and Reko Rennie (artwork opposite) will begin work on 15 February.
