This weekend 3CR is supporting the Live Wire 24 hour speak-out for refugees at Federation Square, Melbourne. Kicking off at midday on Saturday, the speak-out seeks to reclaim the conversation around asylum seekers in the lead up to the Federal election.

3CR will be contributing to the Live Wire, with presenters from 3CR's Queering the Air  speaking about issues affecting LGBTIQ refugees at 6pm on Saturday, and excerpts from 3CR's Refugee Radio Project and Yarra Refugee Radio Project will be played throughout the 24hrs at Federation Square.

So get down to Live Wire and show your support for refugees and asylum seekers.
