At last weekend's CBAA Conference 3CR's Earth Matters won the 2011 Award for Excellence in Spoken Word, News and Current Affairs Programming. The 2-part series was produced by Jenny Denton and focuses on West Papua and the Freeport mine - you can listen to Part 1 and Part 2 now. Congratulations also to Small Talk who received a Highly Commended for Best New Program or Content Initiative.

But wait there's more! 3CR is a finalist in the Human Rights Radio Award for I Just Can't Hide It - a young women's disability day project (producers Gab, Helen, Marian and Clemmie pictured, absent Clare). The winner will be announced on Friday 9 December. Good luck!
