Congratulations to all our finalists and winners in the 2012 Community Broadcasting Association of Australia annual awards. Our coverage of the Tent Embassy's 40th anniversary was a finalist - well done!

3CR won three of the national awards: Greg Segal took out the Excellence in Technical/IT Services award, Brainwaves won the Excellence in Training category, and volunteer-extraordinaire Michael Smith was awarded Outstanding Volunteer Contribution. The national awards recognise the amazing efforts on air, and behind the scenes, of our volunteers, programmers, and staff within the community broadcasting sector as a whole. Great work!
