On Human Rights Day tune in to remarkable stories from members of Melbourne’s refugee and asylum seeker community. Start the day with Friday Breakfast 7am- 8.30 Program includes info and updates of HRD events and actions. Refugee Radio 9 – 10am features ten refugees and asylum seekers on their journey to a new land. From 10 – 12noon 3CR will broadcast live from the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre in West Melbourne featuring personal stories, political and legal updates and details on how the broader community can support those struggling to find stability and refuge in Australia. 3CR’s Human Rights Day special programming is supported by the City of Melbourne and the Victorian Multicultural Commission.
