3CR's own Greg Segal received a Lifetime Technical Contribution to Community Broadcasting Award 2011. The award was presented at the 3rd Annual Technorama Conference on the 10 September in Canberra and recognises a significant contribution made to community broadcasting.

Greg has worked as a technician for 3CR since 1978 and one of his proudest achievements is the setting up of 3CR's own AM transmitter at Werribee. Congratulations Greg! (pictured)

Come along to the 3CR spring gardening sale and buy some great products to get your garden ready for summer. The sale will include compost, plant shop vouchers, seeds, fertilizers and a wide range of gardening books, all items will be discounted.

Beyond the Bar's Fulham radio program will be broadcast from Federation Square this Thursday evening as part of NAIDOC Week 2011 celebrations.
From 6.30 - 8.30pm on Thursday 7 July the stories, raps, shout-outs and perspectives of the Indigenous men at Fulham Correctional Centre in Gippsland will be shared with passers-by and visitors to Federation Square.
