3CR Community Radio's environment shows will broadcast live from the Sustainable Living Festival on Saturday, 20 February from 11:00 am through until 1:00 pm. Featuring interviews and discussion on current sustainability issues with broadcasters from Earth Matters, Out of the Blue, Beyond Zero Emissions and Renegade Economists.

We will also be broadcasting live from the Applecore Backyard Festival this Saturday, 20 February from 5:30pm through until 10:00pm. Tune in for live coverage of the festival with some of 3CR's fantastic music show presenters who will be bringing it to you straight outta' Thornbury. Listen on 855 am or stream it right here!

3CR is getting closer to finalising the design of the new mural on the outside of its building at 21 Smith Street Fitzroy.

Local artists Bindi Cole, Tom Civil and Reko Rennie (artwork opposite) will begin work on 15 February.

Come to the second phase of our community consultation to share your ideas and thoughts on the draft mural design.

On Tuesday 26 January at 11am join Gilla McGuinness live from the Belgrave Survival Day concert. Enjoy great music, interviews, vox pops and information about the day through until 4pm.

On 20 January 1842 Tunnerminnerwait and Maulboyheenner - two Indigenous freedom fighters - were executed on the corner of Bowen and Franklin Streets in Melbourne. A quarter of Victoria's white population came in carnival mood to see the killings.
