Muslims in Australia are currently experiencing some of the worst anti Muslim media coverage, laws and vilification since September 11. Yet again, Muslims in the community are misrepresented and the visibility of Muslim women is making them a target of physical and verbal abuse. We speak with Ayan Mohamud and Soreti Kadir about some of the current concerns facing the Muslim communities they live and work in.
