The protests were substantial especially considering they were organised in just two weeks and come hot on the heels of the preselection of Latina Socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to a democratic senate seat in New York.

Serco. The prison will be the endpoint for a pipeline that takes homeless women and women with mental illness and dumps them in gaol (and keeps them there for profit).
