- Ensuring Integrity bill defeated in the senate. The reliance on lobbying right wing senators and the lack of any mobilisation in the streets has been a major weakness in the ACTU's response to the union busting bill.

- Vale Sam Watson, a giant of Aboriginal rights struggle. Murri activist, author, film maker and playwright Sam Watson passed away surrounded by friends and family on November 27 and will be sorely missed by those who knew him and fought alongside him.

- Julian Assange case "A threat to free speech worldwide".

- Britain faces its most important election in a decade. Boris Johnson is ahead in the polls but with large numbers of young people enrolling to vote and the Labour party base energised behind Corbyn, it will come down to the wire.

744am Jacob, Meghan and Zane speak with Luis Chaux from the community organisation United for Colombia, about the wave of protests against neoliberalism sweeping Colombia. Drawing inspiration from the protests in Chile, Colombian workers staged a general strike on November 21 against anti worker and pension reforms.

811am Meghan, Jacob and Zane speak with Iranian community organiser Damoon Jehani about the latest breakout of protest in Iran. Part of the global wave of protest against neoliberalism and in support of greater democratic rights, Damoon reports that the protests initiallty brought together people from diverse backgrounds to push back against the scrapping of fuel subsidies,  and quickly took on a more radical character.
