Over this past six months I have been closely watching the news - it has become clear that Australia's backing of fossil fuel exports are becoming increasingly untenable. The US has rejoined the Paris agreement, in October China vowed to reach net zero by 2060 - quickly followed by South Korea and Japan. This Asian tsunami away from coal is a huge proportion of our coal exports which accounted for over 55% in 2018.
And where does this position Australia with our reliance coal and the prospect of a gas lead recovery?
