Dr Karen Block is a researcher at the School of Population and Global Health at the University of Melbourne. She was also on of the authors of the recent report, 'Forced migration and sexual and gender-based violence: findings from the SEREDA project', published in March 2022 by SEREDA (Sexual & Gender Based Violence against Refugees from Displacement to Arrival). Dr Block joins us to discuss the "continuum of violence" that many forced migrants face from before displacement, in conflict, and transit, as well as after arrival in their current country of residence.
