Nick O'Mara is regarded as one of Melbourne's most talented & intuitive guitar players and something of a master at creating mood and atmosphere, notably with his former band Raised By Eagles, the critically acclaimed Amarillo with partner Jac Tonks and in 2022 the release of Nick's solo album Overland.

Overland explores themes of hope & dread, beauty and decay, love & loss, malevolence & deliverance, Recorded variously at cousin Shane O’Mara’s Yikesville studio in Yarraville and in a roughly converted barn in a Coburg backyard, ‘Overland’ was a labour of love for Nick, the maxim being to capture the true essence of each song with each performance.
