Henry Vyhnal is an eclectic and talented musician who’s played and recorded with a highly regarded selection of Melbourne artists including Ewen Cameron, magician Sam Angelico, Poor Tom,  Eric Gradman, Nick Cave, Stephen Cummings, Peter Lillie, Johnny Topper, Ash Wednesday, Mark Ferrie, Joe Camilleri and many more.

Dr Gonzo was fortunate to meet Henry while both were serving time at the South Melbourne depot on the Melbourne Trams. Henry was one of the few tram conductors there who shared the doctor’s passion for music.

Henry’s surname Vyhnal is his real name and as he tells it he’s played virtually every style of music, rockabilly, blues, punk, experimental, bluegrass and classical in a bewildering array of music combos.
