Long Hours is on This One's Introduced By... with Dr Gonzo on 3CR

Welcome back to "And This One’s Introduced By…" and on this episode of the program we have the pleasure of hosting Julian Medore, also known as Long Hours. A musical human tornado, a Long Hours live performance is nothing short of extraordinary. Known for his wild, physical stage presence, Julian literally throws himself onto the floor and rolls around, risking life and limb for his art.

In an astonishing feat of productivity, Long Hours has released over 30 albums in just four years. His latest, Fly House, was recorded while touring Europe and is now available on Beast Records, a label based in Rennes, France.

Long Hours' music defies easy categorization, blending elements of lo-fi, no wave, synthpunk, crooncore, and goth doo-wop. His relentless live shows draw inspiration from legendary frontmen like David Yow of The Jesus Lizard, JG Thirlwell of Foetus, and Alan Vega.

Please tune-in as we dive into the whirlwind world of Long Hours and explore the musical genius behind the chaos.
