Featuring the haunting theremin melodies of Miles Brown and Sarah Lim's vintage horror synthesizers, The Night Terrors have carved out a niche as one of Australia’s most unique musical acts. They are among the few bands globally to compose and release original albums with the theremin as the lead instrument.

Following the success of their acclaimed 2014 pipe organ record, "Pavor Nocturnus," the band took a hiatus, during which Brown released two solo albums on the legendary UK movie soundtrack label Death Waltz. Now, with "HYPNOTICA," The Night Terrors return with a deeply cinematic collection of haunting electronic music.

This album showcases the theremin’s expressive power, the world’s oldest and most enigmatic electronic instrument. Brown's gesturally controlled theremin takes center stage, creating a dramatic lead in a mesmerizing world of gothic operatics, dark melodies, and euphoric spectral electro.
