This week we turn to the food injustice occuring in Cuba, with Maree Dellora, from the Melbourne branch of the Australian Cuba Friendship Society and host of Latin American Update on 3CR. Cuba has been under harsh economic sanctions for many decades and has endured worsening sanctions from the 2016 Trump US government and the COVID crisis. Agro Vivo is a project being carried out to bring food to the Cuban people. Listen to this episode to learn about the current situatuion in Cuba, how the Cuban people are making use of permaculture and traditional herbalism and how we can help them materially.
