On the show today we feature audio from a forum held on Tuesday 18th June by the Nuclear Truth Project. The online forum, entitled, AUKUS Beyond Borders: global and regional ramifications of the unfolding AUKUS nuclear and military alliance, was hosted by Dimity Hawkins, Pam Fisher and Rico Robertson.
In this show we’ll hear from Teanau Tuiono, a Greens member of Parliament in Aotearoa/ NZ who is introduced by Pam Fisher of the nuclear truth project. Then Sam Fairbrother will bring us a perspective from the Mersey River Basin, the most highly nuclearised area of the UK, situated in North West England.
