Pilar Aguilera first came to 3CR as a 17-year-old, first as a volunteer, then as a producer and presenter. In 2001 she worked as the first Ethnic Resource Coordinator for the station. Pilar joined the Committee of Management in 2018, as well as the Programming Sub-Committee; she is now Chairperson. She has worked in book publishing for 20 years and is a committed social justice/human rights activist.

 For this Rotations, she interviewed partner and musical genius Abe Dunovits. Abe has contributed with music to a few programs on 3CR; writing the theme music to Completada Bailable as well as Radio Capucha as well as being a guest on various programs. Abe has been making music for a few decades.  There is a musical melange in his mind that drives him to create triumphant music, literature and art, which has been described as unconventional, inspired, avant-garde, luminary and memorable.
