On Showreel this week we are chatting with writer director Catherine Hill about her film Some Happy Day. The low budget feature centres on two stories a homeless woman Tiny aspiring to a better life and Frances a social worker with troubles of her own. It covers a single day, set in St Kilda and Dalysford, Some Happy Day is a great insigth into the human terrain right on our door step - that is if you have a door step. 

Just a reminder On World Day of Social Justice (Sun 20 Feb 2022), Some Happy Day will have its Melbourne premiere with a fundraiser for Sacred Heart Mission at Classic Cinemas as well as additional screenings on Mon 21 Feb 2022 and Wed 23 Feb 2022.
