Melbourne International Games Week 2022 (MIGW) is a hybrid event from 1-9th October. It kicks off with ACMI’s Big Games Night In – a chance to play the most exciting new Australian games for free, and from the comfort of your own home. Games include international success Cult of the Lamb, the dreamy, pastel-laden Drive me to the Moon by Olivia Haines and Call of the Golden Valley, a murder-mystery game. ACMI’s Arieh Offman, who curated the program, could speak alongside any of the game-makers involved.
In today's program we chat with Jacob Leaney, game developer and songwriter/producer here and Daniel Teitelbaum here from Games for Change which is running the The Games for Change Festival as a hybrid event from 4-6 October within MIGW.
