Spoken Word - Edward Caruso

Thursday, 29 August 2019 - 9:00am to 9:30am
Edward Caruso poetry

Santo Cazzati introduces his guest, fellow Italian Australian, Edward Caruso. Eddie has recently released a beautifully presented book of poetry and photography pertaining to his experiences in Argentina and Chile. He has a left political perspective on events there, reflected for certain in his poetry. There is, however, also very beautiful artistic and humanistic expression in his writing. A highlight of the programme is his tribute to Pablo Neruda, which follows Santo's reading of an actual poem by the great Chilean poet.
