Neoliberal 'think tank' Centre for Independent Studies (CIS) has played a key strategic role in the No campaign, to maintain the pro-business (as usual) status quo. CIS is part of a global network of conservative organisations and networks "to a secretive U.S. organization called the Atlas Network that’s received support from oil, gas and coal companies and operates in nearly 100 countries'.
