National Volunteer Week

This year’s National Volunteer Week (15-21 May) theme is ‘The Change Makers’. This perfectly captures the spirit of our incredible volunteers - from managing reception to creating podcasts, tending to our garden, and producing captivating radio, our volunteers are making a meaningful and lasting impact in our community every day. Volunteering at 3CR is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable skills, meet like-minded individuals, and make a positive difference in the world. Keen to be a ‘Change Maker’? Get in touch today.

Done By Law trivia night Friday 21 October

Trivia is BACK baby! That's right, Done By Law's legendary trivia night returns to light up the social calendars of the best and brightest minds in Melbourne. Expect another evening of sparkling wit, cunning competition and of course, the glorious glory of sweet sweet victory (which could be yours by the way). This your first year? Welcome!! You might just be the best among us, but you'll have to strut your stuff to prove it!  And yes, before you faint - the competition will end, as it always does, with limbo, and it will be fabulous. Why are we assembling you ask? To raise much needed funds for the incredible 3CR, the fiercely grassroots radio station which hosts Done By Law. Friday 21 October at Collingwood Town Hall. Climate Capitalism and the Future fundraiser

Uprise Radio and Stick Together program teams have combined forces to bring you an afternoon of lively discussion and music. In the face of imminent climate collapse, floods, fires and pandemics, it is critical that we take action. We are thrilled to host a panel discussion to hear about strategy, tactics and solidarity. Joining the panel will be Natarsha Napanangka Bamblett, Zelda Grimshaw - Blockade Australia, Dr. Colin Long - Sustainability Campaigner from Trades Hall Victoria and Anthony Kelly - Melbourne Activist Legal Support.  Stick around afterwards for the tunes laid down by some of the best local legends: Les Thomas, Maxine Fink and Sooty Owls. There'll be food, refreshments, a 3CR stall and a RAFFLE, with a choice selection of prizes. Tickets are $10, with a solidarity option for an amount of your choosing. Of course, no one turned away. 3-7pm Saturday 23 July, Black Spark Cultural Space, 126A Gladstone Ave, Northcote (accessible tram stop 30 on Route 11). You can get tickets here, and full event details here.
