Join 3CR for an evening of punk and protest on the big screen with Pussy Riot: A Punk Prayer. Five women wearing brightly coloured balaclavas rushed the altar of a Moscow Russian Orthodox Cathedral with microphones, speakers and a guitar and launched into a "punk prayer" in protest against Vladimir Putin's "excessive nationalism". Come to the 3CR film fundraiser and get the real story of what happened next.

3CR has been running the Girls Radio Club for young women from Indigenous, refugee, asylum seeker and migrant backgrounds aged 15 to 20. The Girls Radio Club is now broadcasting on 3CR every Thursday 5-5.30pm until September 19. During the next 2 weeks, our 3CR programs are bringing you evenings of film, comedy, and trivia. This Tuesday night at The Old Bar, 76 Johnston St, Fitzroy, Let Your Freak Flag Fly and Planet X present Autoluminescent, The Rowland S Howard Story, with a live set and introduction by Harry Howard.

Come together in support of 3CR this week and get to one of these amazing 3CR benefit gigs! Tonight at The Grace Darling in Collingwood: Beloved Elk, Sweet Teens, The Ancients, The Clits + Djs Sir Chaz and Ari Shawshot will end the night with some OG beats. 3CR is now seeking applications for the Girls Radio Club project. Girls Radio Club is an exciting 10 week radio project for 12 young women from Indigenous, refugee, asylum seeker and migrant backgrounds aged 15 to 20. It’s free, and participants will learn about radio broadcasting, producing, podcasting, editing and mixing skills. The project will run on Thursdays after school throughout Term 3. Applications close 12 June 5pm so get in quick!

3CR's Girls Radio Offensive loves Melbourne punk! In order to keep promoting the punk scene for another year, they're holding the Stinkfest benefit gig this Saturday 6 April. The fact that it just happens to coincide with Dale's (Girls Radio Offensive programmer) 40th birthday is a mere cherry on top!

3CR will celebrate International Women's Day on Friday 8 March with 24 hours of women's only programming. Program highlights include live outside broadcasts from the Fitzroy Stars GYM on Gertrude street with 3CR's own Jody Beeton, women's current affairs, music, poetry and much more. See grid or download the word document.
