Social enterprise Welcome Merchant has again teamed up with Melbourne’s iconic laneway bar, Section 8, for another vibrant market filled with goodies from local refugee and migrant artists and makers! From sustainable fashion to ceramics, candles, kids’ toys, jewellery and original prints, Welcome Merchant’s Festive Market promises a diverse array of treats and gifts to get your hands on, including:
RJ Dradi the Label, sustainably made, African inspired clothing & accessories
Small Fires Play, a social enterprise selling kids’ toys & books
Juan Du, a fashion designer trained at Social Studio & more
There will be delicious food served to hungry market goers by Sebastian Pasinetti (OKO Cafe/Ex-Chin Chin) and Palestinian falafel queen, Aheda’s Kitchen. Live music will be brought by Rick Fean, an emerging artist with a 4-year journey in music, blending Hip-Hop, Afro Pop & Electronica.
