Andy Burns is a talented singer / songwriter and an accomplished multi-instrumentalist. His songs are observational, personal, dark but subtly humorous, catchy sounding with beautiful quirky melodies sounding a little like a folkier, calypso influenced version of UK band 10CC.

He’s based in Perth, Western Australia and describes himself as a chamber pop artist.Andy Burns has released 3 albums much of which was recorded over a seven-year stint living and working in Tokyo as a salaryman.

Dr Gonzo was lucky to see him play live recently at a fantastic venue Trash Cult in Eaglemont in Bendigo supporting Esse and the Brave New Sounds and renowned U.S. banjo player Eugene Chadbourne.
