Artist/Activist Jim E. Brown was born in Manchester in the U.K. on September 10, just one day before 911, He is an alcoholic and has several degenerative conditions.

Singing brutally honest, darkly humorous songs and sounding a bit like a cross between Steve Harley and John Cooper Clarke, maybe a yobbier but unpretentious Nick Cave without the religion.

He played some dozen shows all around Australia back in April 2024 with Andy Burns also on the bill. Hope you saw them live, sorry if you didn’t.

Jim E. Brown has released six albums to date including Jim E. Brown Sings His Love Songs, Broken, Nausea, This is Jim E. Brown,Torture and Rot.
