Join this free public event on UN Human Rights Day on Wednesday 10 December to advocate for the human rights of people with mental health issues. The program will include a screening of the documentary Breaking the Chains (Director, Dr Erminia Colucci), music by various artists, presentations and a panel discussion dedicated to human rights in mental health. This event is being supported by 3CR’s Brainwaves and the Mental Illness Fellowship.
Wednesday 3 December is International Day of People with Disability, and 3CR is celebrating with 12 hours of disability resistance, culture and pride. We’ll have a Big Bold Breakfast with Phin and Daniel from The Boldness, and disability day shows from Brainwaves, Small Talk, Radical Australia and Refugee Radio.

Set in the Margaret Thatcher’s England in the summer of 84, ‘Pride’ is the story of how a London-based group of gay and lesbian activists join forces with the National Union of Mineworkers to raise money to support the strikers' families.
3CR is very proud to announce the launch of the Beyond the Bars 2014 CD. The 2014 CD is a selection of songs, poems, raps, stories and conversations from Aboriginal men and women inside 6 Victorian prisons broadcast during NAIDOC week. The launch will feature excerpts from the CD, live music and a panel discussion MC'd by Beyond the Bars founding member, Kutcha Edwards.
Coinciding with the G20 summit in Brisbane in November, 3CR will be presenting a series of live radio broadcasts from the Musgrave Park Aboriginal Tent Embassy’s First Nations with alternative vision - Decolonisation Before Profit and The Peoples Summit. Tune in from Saturday 8 November to Sunday 16 November. 3CR will be out in force with dangerous ideas.
