Jo has been an enduring presence in the music scene, performing both locally and internationally. His debut solo album, A Handful of Smoke, was honored as Australian Album of the Year by the esteemed radio show Outpost on 2SER. This album, recorded over two years in France, Sydney, and Melbourne, featured members of Charles Jenkins and the Zhivagos, French pianist Lisa Barel, and what would later become his band, The Honeyriders.

Now, Jo returns with his latest release, Silver Bullets—a sleek new album featuring Jo Meares on vocals and guitars, Mark McCartney on guitars, Mark Carson on bass, Charlie Barker on vocals and saw, and Scott Bennett on drums.
