Eureka Rebellion 170th Anniversary: Outside Broadcast

Live Outside Broadcast at the Dawn Ceremony at the site of the Eureka Stockade for the 170th Anniversary commemoration.

This event was held at the Eureka Stockade Gardens in Ballarat, from 4-6am on Tuesday 3rd December 2024, and was organised by Reclaim the Radical Spirit of the Eureka Rebellion and Ballarat Regional Trades & Labour Council.

The on-site recording features the voices of Dr. Joseph Toscano (Anarchist World This Week), Brett Edgington (Ballarat Trades Hall), and other community members in attendance, finishing with a collective recitation of the Eureka Oath:

"We swear by the Southern Cross
to stand by each other
and fight to defend
our rights and liberties."
