Refugee Activist Detained here II Aran Mylvaganam respected community leader was handcuffed and detained for three hours during a protest at Andrew Gillies office in Thomastown on Thursday. Gillies is the minister for immigration and the demonstration was to remind him that 12,000, mostly Tamils, have been left with out permanent status in Australia. Aran talks to us today.
