Fundraiser Auction - June 24

Come to 3CR Community Radio Station, 21 Smith St Fitzroy, on Tuesday 24 June at 6pm for a fundraising auction for Tuesday Hometime. Kevin Healy from City Limits will be MC and Auctioneer Extraordinare. One of the many great items for auction is Iain MacIntyre's How To Make Trouble And Influence People.

CRAM 2014

The 3CR CRAM Guide is the station's annual magazine free to subscribers. This year the 2014 CRAM joins the resistance! The guide focuses on how 3CR has been the voice of community activism and place of resistance since our inception. Plus we celebrate our proud history of union affiliation, Indigenous solidarity and our role in supporting and growing community campaigns both locally and overseas.

Housing is a Human Right

Join the team from 3CR's Roominations program at the Where The Heart Is Festival on Friday 21 March. The show will be broadcasting live between 12 and 2pm from the only annual festival set up specifically to provide an enjoyable day out for Melbourne's homeless population. There are lots of free activities and services available to access, and entertainment provided by local artists.

Freedom Fighters - Tunnerminnerwait & Maulboyheenner
This year marks the 172nd anniversary of the execution of the two Freedom Fighters; Tunnerminnerwait & Maulboyheenner. They were executed on 20 January 1842 on the corner of Bowen & Franklin Sts Melbourne.

Nelson Mandela
We present a very special breakfast on the 25th December as we dig into the archives to bring you a unique address by Nelson Mandela to the Victorian trade union movement in 1990 at Melbourne Town Hall. Mandela had come to thank them for their solidarity work and for their support in bringing down the apartheid system in South Africa, and 3CR was there broadcasting live. Listen in Wednesday 25 December from 7am.
