Queering The Air 3CR is a revolutionary radio show broadcasted on 3CR, a community radical radio station dedicated to amplifying marginalised voices and promoting social justice. Hosted by three women of transgender experience, Sasja Sÿdek, Madison Moffat and Shurthi in collabration with diverse team of LGBTQIA+ activists, artists, and community members - boasts a rich history and a deep-rooted passion for the LGBTQIA+ community. This long-running program is a cornerstone of LGBTQIA+ media, providing a platform for visibility and representation. It challenges norms, explores queer culture, and empowers individuals. Committed to intersectionality, Queering The Air addresses social justice topics, including queer history, gender identity, and activism. The show features interviews with activists, discussions on current issues, and creative expressions through music and poetry. By centering diverse LGBTQIA+ voices, it fosters understanding, solidarity, and social change, enriching listeners' lives and inspiring action for a more inclusive future.

Come join us at the 3CR garage sale - Saturday 16 November, 9am-2pm in the 3CR carpark at the rear of 21 Smith Street, Fitzroy. There’ll be CDs, records, cassettes, books, household goods, 3CR merchandise and much more! Curated by the weekly show The Sporting Record and all proceeds go directly to the station. This event is part of the Garage Sale Trail.
