We were truly honoured to be joined by Harchana today. Her story was nothing short of extraordinary. Having migrated to Australia as a refugee, she sought not just safety, but also the opportunity to rebuild her life. Her journey was a testament to incredible resilience, as she navigated the complexities of displacement and underwent a profound personal transformation.
Harchana’s past was filled with immense difficulty and trauma, but it didn’t define her. Her path to Naarm (Melbourne) marked the beginning of a new chapter—one focused on healing, empowerment, and renewal. She spoke with deep gratitude for the safe and welcoming environment she found in Australia, which became a nurturing ground for her dreams.
Today, Harchana stands as a beacon of strength and perseverance, a living example of what it means to overcome the darkest of circumstances. By sharing her story, she has inspired so many, showing that no matter how challenging the past may be, it’s possible to create a future filled with hope and possibility. It was a privilege to hear her speak and witness the light she brings to the world.
The show was aired in bilingual Tamil and English.
